Desmond "Dez" Lamont Bell was a caring and loving father, brother, and friend. Desmond left this world suddenly on November 24, 2021 at age 48.
He was born to the late Allene Bell & Randy Briggs on on July 17, 1973. He was the 2nd oldest of 4 children. Desmond graduated in 1998, and after graduation, began chasing his dreams, including working for Ford Motor Company for 5 years. Along the way, he made two handsome sons, who he deeply cherished.
Desmond loved spending time with his sister (Larissa), his two sons, and other family & friends. He enjoyed listening to good music and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a great listener and always found a way to create memorable moments. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and loved every minute he spent with his sons.
He is survived by his two sons, Jameil Lamont Bell and Dashon Lamont Price; stepchildren, Delmeshia Caldwell, Ezekiel Holden, LaCorey Scrivener, Ilesa Key, and Yana McKinley; siblings, Larissa Mainor, Angela Mainor, and Kenny Bell; as well as a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Desmond will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He would want his loved ones to honor his legacy by continuing to live life to the fullest everyday.
A celebration of his life will be held at Newcomer Southwest Louisville Chapel on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
