Dennis G. Thompson, age 67 of Louisville, Kentucky, entered into the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Margaret Willett Thompson. He leaves behind cousins and many friends who loved him. Dennis devoted his life to his Catholic faith and served in many leadership capacities at various churches.
He was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order of the Fraternity of the Poor Jesus and a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be 10am-12pm on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Rita Catholic Church 8709 Preston Highway Louisville, KY 40219, with a Mass of Celebration at 12pm. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
