Dennis Ray Stoy

Dennis Ray Stoy, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020. Dennis was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army who served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the New Albany VFW and enjoyed riding horses, fishing, flying remote control airplanes, and listening and dancing to country music.
He was born on July 23, 1948 in Wauseon, Ohio to the late Ellsworth and Alma (Maymon) Stoy.
Dennis is survived by his daughters, Heather (Bill) White and Hilary (Mark Wilson) Stoy; grandchildren, Hailee White and Gavin White; brothers, Garry (Charlene) Stoy and Larry Stoy; and nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at the El Bethel Cemetery in Milltown, Indiana.
The family requests that contributions in Dennis' memory be made to the ALS Association (als.org).
