Dennis William Shea

Dennis William Shea, 37, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was a son, brother, father, and friend to so many.

Dennis William Shea was born April 1, 1984 in Louisville, Kentucky to Timothy and Carla (Graeter) Shea. Dennis loved to learn, read, and write. He had a particular interest in astrology and philosophy. He also loved music and gaming. One of his favorite things to do was play video games with Dayton and Jayden, two very special boys in his life.

Dennis was the type of person that you could sit and talk with for hours without running out of things to say. Although he was a very quiet man, he was also someone that was always there to listen. He has a special place in his heart for everyone in his life.

Most of all, he was a devoted father, who strived to create a beautiful life for his daughter.
He found the light in his life when Kendall was born and he had no greater joy then spending time with her and making memories filled with love and laughter.

Dennis is proceeded into death by his mother, Carla Graeter Johnson (James); Grandmother Janet Goff Kleier (William); Grandfather, Donald Shea; great-grandparents, Carl and Henrietta Graeter, George and Eula Koppel and Hillary Goff and Stepsister, Krista Wagner.

He leaves behind his daughter, Kendall Shea; father, Timothy Shea; brother, Brad Shea; sister, Kristin Johnson; Stepfather, James Johnson (Carla); Grandmother, Rosemary McAdams; Grandfathers, William Kleier, and Carl Graeter; Dennis also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Dennis on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 2-6 pm at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church Gymnasium (formally St Jerome Catholic Church), 903 Fairdale Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118.

The family will be accepting clothing donations to be taken to the Healing Place where they will be donated in his memory.
