Dennis Loren Guthrie

Dennis Loren Guthrie, 65, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on March 18, 2016. He was born on September 25, 1953, in Floyd County, Indiana, to Ernest and Marjorie (Elrod) Guthrie. Dennis worked as a contractor for many years. He attended United Methodist Church in Henryville, Indiana for many years. Dennis enjoyed the outdoors, and hunting, along with spending time with his family and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Marjorie (Elrod) Guthrie. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Francine (Carruthers) Guthrie, children; Shane Guthrie, Sheena Raisor (Lee), siblings; Donnie Guthrie (Teresa), Regina Kerber (Larry), 3 grandchilden, Jazlyn, Shaylynn, Lathan Raisor, Addalynn Green, along with many aunts , uncles, nieces, and nephews.


Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 12pm to 1p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home ( 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with service to follow at 1pm.
