Dennis Keith Botkins, 74, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013.
Dennis was born December 11, 1939 to the late Mervyn Botkins and Dorothy Marie Meisenhelder.
He was a ham radio operator with the call sign of WD9ANJ. Dennis was a navy veteran and retired from the CSX railroad after forty years of service. He also enjoyed racing motorcycles and building muscle cars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Kathy Haller.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany Indiana 47150) January 23, 2014 at 6P.M. with visitation from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
