Dennis W. "Hank" Ballard, 72, of English, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Dennis was a retired NAPD detective after serving our community for almost 40 years.
He was born on April 8, 1947, in English, Indiana, to the late Jerry and Geraldine (Brandenburg) Ballard. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marla K. Ballard; and brother, Glennis Ballard.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Tressa K. Ballard; sister, Peggy Chanley; and nephew, Bill Chanley, Jr.
No services will be scheduled.
The family requests that contributions in Dennis's memory be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306).
