A devoted daughter to Charlene Heath and Joe W. Walker, Denita grew up in a family woven tightly with love and support. She was a cherished sister to her brother, Joe Walker, and his wife, Tina, and a beloved aunt to Bryce Walker, Cameron Butler, and Rylee Witten. Her family circle also included her dear aunt Shirley Roberts and her cousins Jeanette Loudermilk, Connie Lewis, Tony Sharp, Terry Sharp, Edna Carrington, and Roy Carrington. Denita was preceded in death by her beloved son, Sean Theodore Cleveland, and her niece, Hayley M. Haburne, whose memory remained ever close to her heart.

Denita's journey began in the halls of Western High School, from which she graduated, forging lifelong friendships and cultivating a strong sense of personal drive and compassion. She went on to dedicate herself professionally as a nurse at Baptist Health Floyd. Denita’s career was a testament to her innate kindness and commitment to the well-being of others. Her caring presence left a lasting impression on colleagues and patients alike, and she was widely respected for her skill, empathy, and unwavering reliability.

A woman of deep faith, Denita was a devoted Jehovah's Witness, finding strength and guidance in her spiritual beliefs. Her love for people and animals radiated through every aspect of her life. She was frequently found in her garden, nurturing the flowers and plants that brought her joy and tranquility. Her passion for gardening was matched only by the gentle way she cared for those around her.

Denita’s life was a reflection of genuine care for others, a warm smile, and words of encouragement whenever they were needed most. She lived each day guided by her principles, and her compassion reached all corners of her family and community.

While those who survive her will keenly feel her absence, the legacy she leaves behind is one of enduring kindness, love, and faith. Her memory will forever light the way for those who knew her.
