Delton Johnson Sr., 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Delton was a tradesman who knew how to fix just about anything. He loved working with his hands, autos, building, and fishing.

He was born on July 1, 1941 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to James and Frances Johnson. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Son, Kenneth Johnson, and two brothers, Phillip Johnson & Larry Johnson.

Delton is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty Johnson, Daughter, Antoinette Soucie, Son, D.J. Johnson, III, Daughter, Pamela Graham, Son, James Graham, Son, Morris Graham, Daughter, Linda (Gary) Peak, Grandchildren, Lane (Maria) Bratcher, Loni Bratcher, Larry Soucie, and Delton Soucie, Brothers, Jerry (Reva) Johnson, Gary Johnson, Howard Johnson, Darrell Johnson and Roger Johnson. Sisters, Beverly Ashbury and Delores Brown. Delton also leaves behind to cherish his memory 5 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Military Honors will be performed at 4:00 PM on Sunday.
