Delores Morgan

Delores Morgan, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

She was born on March 16, 1934 in Salem, Indiana to Glen and Audrey (Payne) Hattabaugh. Delores married the love of her life Charles Morgan on August 27, 1954. Their relationship started when they shared the same classroom, in Kindergarten, and lasted until they divorced after 35 years of marriage. During their marriage they moved from Salem, Indiana to Bloomington, Chicago, and finally Louisville Kentucky. Here they owned and operated a restaurant, Dog N Suds.

Later she was a successful Interior Designer for Porter Paints, Devoe Paints and Home Interiors. She was a self taught floral designer and loved combining colors and styles in floral arrangements. She was extremely dedicated to her work by always putting her time and effort into her many designs.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Glen Hattabaugh; Mother, Audrey Hattabaugh Bowers(Louie); and two brothers Keith Hattabaugh and Kent Hattabaugh (Joy).

Delores is survived by her loving family, Daughter, Kathy Jo (Ronald) Mayer, Grandchildren, Kristin (Rob) Rommel, Angela (Andrew Crossan) Bryant, Brian (Sarah) Mayer, Great-Grandchildren, RobB Rommel, Emily Snipp, Gracie Rommel, Morgan Bryant, Madison Bryant, Maddox Bryant, Hank Mayer, Clint Mayer, Sister, Deanna.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
