Delores Fletcher, 95, passed away at University of Louisville Hospital on Saturday May 14, 2016. She was born December 2, 1920 to the late Clarence and Rachel Avery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlie and a great grandson, Cody Beard.
She is survived by daughters, Janet C. Vogel who was her caregiver, Betty Mumford-Clingaman and Shirley A. Rivoli; grandchildren, Lori A. Beard (Hollan Jr.), Tate Mumford (Lisa) and Rachel McGalliard (Scott); great-grandchildren, Rowan, Cadence and Gabriel Mumford and Avery McGalliard; and a great-great granddaughter, Alexis Beard.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 7:30 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway.
In lieu of flowers, the family request gifts are made to her church, Bethany Methodist Church.
