Deirdre Grace (Whistler) Bixler, 80, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
She was born on January 21, 1940, in Bringhurst, Indiana, to the late Carlyle and Dorotha (Garrison) Whistler. Deirdre was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angel Nickell.
Deirdre is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jack Bixler, Sr.; children, Jack Bixler, Jr. (Tracey), Susan Botts (Marc), Renee Copple (Timothy), Christina Jablonski, and Maria Nickell (Mike); twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services will be held privately, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. Deirdre will be laid to rest at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany.
