Debra Wildt

Debra Williams Wildt, age 67 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025.  Debra was born on July 13, 1958 in Marietta, GA to the late Elvin and Margaret Williams.  She graduated from Manual High School and was a basketball player.  She graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's Degree.  Debra spent many years as a radiology manager at Norton Healthcare, was an ultrasound sonographer at UofL, Norton Brownsboro, Jewish and Flaget Hospitals and was an X-ray technician in the old General Hospital and also at UofL  and Flaget Hospitals.  Debra also taught in the Sonography Program at St. Catherine College and at Jefferson State College.  She loved basketball and was a proud supporter and involved with Cabbage Patch Settlement House.  

In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Williams; brother-in-law, Orba Carr; and mother-in-law, Sou Wildt.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of over 46 years, David Wildt; daughter, Lindsay Bushelman (Danny); brothers, Donald Williams (Cindy) and Lee Williams; sister-in-laws, Ida Hazard (Jim), Lillian Carr and Mary Ann Parsley (Bill); brother-in-law, Butch WIldt (Dianne); and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be private.

The family requests that instead of sending flowers to please use those resources to support the American Cancer Society or the donor's choice of charity.
