Deborah Jean (Missi) Naville, 64, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was a long-time member of St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church and a 1973 graduate of Floyd Central High School. Debbie worked in the Admissions Office at Indiana University Southeast.
Debbie found strength in her faith, and she treasured her family. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Over the years, she planned and helped with many family, school, and church events and was instrumental in the success of each.
She was born on March 12, 1955, in New Albany, Indiana, to Mary Lucille (Becht) Missi and the late Donald J. Missi. Debbie was also preceded in death by her sister, Laura Engle.
Along with her mother, Debbie is survived by her loving husband of almost 42 years, Gerald "Jerry" Naville, Sr.; children, Gerald "Jerry" Naville, Jr. (Kasie), Matthew Naville (Andrea), Bethany Custis (John), and Daniel Naville (Tiffany); siblings, Rick Missi (Glenda), Donnie Missi (Sandy), Tim Missi (Connie), Pat Missi (Debbie), and Lisa Huber (Mark); brother-in-law, Donnie Engle; grandchildren, Jude, Benjamin, Braune, Cate, Cydni, Amelia, Elijah, Andrew "A.J.", Oliver, Lucille "Lucy"; Evelyn, Faith, Aubrey, Hazel, and Gracelyn; and many family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church (7500 Navilleton Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
