Deborah Ann "Debbie" McIntosh, age 68 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018. She graduated from Angela Merici and attended Jefferson Community College. Debbie was a retired Sergeant with the Kentucky Air National Guard. She retired from Jefferson County Public Schools after 30 years of service, most of them at Fairdale High School. She was a former member of the old St. Anthony's Catholic Church and was a member of the Jefferson County Republican Women's Club. She loved her family and had a big heart for her pets and strays alike, working with the Shamrock Foundation and other agencies. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Clayton Stewart and Mary Lanham Stewart Miller; and her former husband, Kenny McIntosh.
Deborah is survived by loving children, Christopher Michael McIntosh (Kim Thayer), Corvette Sean McIntosh (Tabatha) and Cynthia Haas (Chad); grandchildren, Ciarra Kay and Jordan Ray Losik and Brett McIntosh; brother, Darryl Philip Stewart; sisters, Darlene Mattingly and Denise Maloney (Bill); lifetime friends, Dr. Dawn Wietfeldt and Joyce Perazzini; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Monday, November 26, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 235 Juneau Drive, in Middletown. Mass of Celebration will be held Tuesday at 10 am at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219.
