Deborah Sue (Johnson) Mcguire

Deborah Sue (Johnson) McGuire, 67, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was an employee at Cardiovascular Consultants for over 20 years. Debby loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed gardening.

She was born on December 28, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, to James and Veronica (Schweitzer) Johnson. In addition to her parents, Debby was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Johnson.

Debby is survived by her husband, Patrick McGuire; son, Daniel McGuire; sisters, Barbara Colville (Jerry), Linda Frederick, Amy Zehren, and Jenny Johnson; brothers, Jim Johnson (Theresa) and Jeff Johnson (Becky); grandchildren, Michael, Victoria, Callan, and Caleb McGuire; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Debby's wish was to be cremated, and a gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Contributions in her memory may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
