Deborah Carol Hill

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Deborah Carol Hill, aged 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, who departed this life on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Born on December 15, 1956, in the quaint town of Willisburg, Kentucky, Debbie was a beacon of love and resilience. She is preceded in death by many cherished family members who now welcome her into the eternal embrace.

Debbie's legacy continues through her loving husband of 48 years, Ronnie Hill. She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Connie (Timothy) Smith and Bonnie (Mark) Badgett, along with an adoring brood of grandchildren: Rebecca (Max Kleiderman) Smith, Sierra Smith, Katie (Bradley) Stewart, and Savannah (Will) Pavon. The joy of her life also extended to her great-grandchildren, Haylee, Isaiah, Oaklee, Sophia, Bradley Jr., Lukas, and Isabella. Additionally, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Eleanor Hill; niece, Jennifer Hill; great-nephew, Chase Pardue; brother-in-law, James Hill; sister-in-law, Connie (Jerry) Willhoite; and many other relatives and friends who will hold her memory dear.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Debbie found her greatest happiness in the company of her grandchildren, cherishing every moment with them. She had a profound love for music and found comfort and inspiration in the teachings of Joyce Meyer from Meyer Ministries.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 4th, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy. A Funeral Service will commence at 6:00 pm that same evening at the funeral home.
