Deborah "Debbie" Lee Harp, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, step-mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She was energetic and full of life. Debbie proudly served her country in the United States Navy from 1974 until 1978. She enjoyed tending to her garden and caring for her flowers. Debbie liked to spend time outdoors walking and hiking. Most importantly, she cherished her family and made everlasting memories with them. Debbie will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She was born on August 8, 1955 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Cecil and Shirley (Duso) Perryman. She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil Perryman; mother, Shirley Duso; uncle, Joe Hughell and his wife, Vicki; and mother-in-law, Annie Mae James, as well as her husband, Darrell.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, David Harp; step-children, Stephanie (Brandon) Schrader, Nathaniel Harp; grandchildren, Paxtyn, Chloe, Tavyn, Estella; brother, Albert Duso; nephew, Alby Duso; aunt, Alice Scherer; several cousins; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
