Deborah Lynn Ashton

Deborah Lynn Ashton, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Deborah was a loving wife, mom, mynee, sister, and friend. She loved spending time with her family. She had a great sense of humor and would always keep you laughing. She loved sitting in her kitchen chair and watching hummingbirds as they would come to the feeder. She was very artistic and enjoyed crocheting along with painting and doing Calligraphy. Deborah will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on July 22, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Elizabeth (Calhoun) Ballman. She is preceded in death by her father, John Ballman, mother, Elizabeth Jane Ballman, husband, Thomas E. Ashton, Sr., grandson, Tyler Ashton, and sister, MaryRuth Ireland.

Deborah is survived by her loving family, children, Dana Lynn Sullivan and Thomas E. (Cheryl) Ashton, Jr.; grandson, Brandon Sego; siblings, Jack (Linda) Ballman and Jimmy (Sheila) Ballman; lifelong Friends, JoAnne Holland and Diane Owen As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
