Debbie Fortney, 61, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020.
She was born on December 25, 1958 in Jasper, Indiana to the late Bobby Lee and Joyce (Snelling) Cissell. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Branham and Tammy Fackler.
Debbie was a proud Mom and Nanny, she always had a great spirit about her that could always put a smile on your face. She loved being outside collecting rocks and four leaf clovers.
She is survived by her children, Cody Fortney (Haley), Mariea Flowers (Brian), Keri Fortney, Tina Richie; grandchildren, Devin Campbell, Whitney Kiefer, Haile Campbell, Chelsea Campbell, Destiny Fortney, Braden Morgan, Kaleb Flowers, Corbin Flowers and Clayton Fortney; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Milah, Raelyn, Avery, Kaine and Alivia. She is also survived by her sister, Vickie Cissell (Trevor); brothers, Rick Cissell (Pat), Bobby Cissell, Jr. (Annie), Donnie "Duck" Cissell and Vince Cissell. Also lifelong friend Terry " Butch" Ames.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, IN 47150).
Visitation will also be held on from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane New Albany, IN 47150).
