Deanie E. (McCadden) Wright, 81, of Louisville, KY passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Norton Audubon Hospital.

She was born on December 8, 1937 in Louisville to the late Edgar McCadden and Cora Green. Deanie attended Central High School and went on to begin her career as a CNA. She retired from Bashford Manor Nursing Home in 1999, after 32 years of service. Deanie took great pride in her work and was loved by everyone who embraced her.

She loved her music, dancing and being around her grandchildren every chance she could get. Her grandchildren knew her as "Nannie". Deanie enjoyed going out to eat, playing lottery and sitting on her front porch with family and friends.
She loved her life, her family and the Lord.

Deanie is survived by husband of 40 years, James Wright; daughter Phyllis Thomas (Reeves), her sons; Tony Stone (Yolonda) and Jerome Stone. She is also survived by her stepdaughters Lisa Wright and Marcy Wright, seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three brothers, one sister and a host of family and friends who adored her.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Star Hope Baptist Church (5009 East Indian Trail Louisville, KY 40218) with burial to follow at Petersburg/Newburg Cemetery (3650 Petersburg Road Louisville, KY 40218).
