Dean Runner, 58, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019.

He was born on February 5, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Paul, Sr. and Sherrian Runner. Dean started drag racing when he was 12 years old at Ohio Valley Raceway. Dean's passion was street rods. He loved fishing and he was a jokester, always making people laugh. Dean was loved by all that knew him.

Dean is survived by his loving Wife of 25 years, Alta Runner, Sons, Matthew Edward Runner and Joseph Adam (Sheana) Runner both of Zephyr Hills, FL, Daughter, Danielle Runner, Grandchildren, Christine Runner and Skylar Ryan, Father, Paul Dean Runner, Sr., Mother, Sherrian Runner, Sisters, Tammi (Ron) Pollard and Christy (Scott) Dolle, Cousin and Friend, Shorty Runner and his faithful companion, Tyrannosaurus Rex aka, Rex.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, KY.

The family requests that contributions in Dean's memory be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org.
