Dawn "Ellie" (Bego) Tower, 65, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. She retired as a server after working many years at both Jerry's and Anne's on the River in Jeffersonville. Ellie had a love for music and enjoyed going to concerts.

She was born on September 5, 1954, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Louis and Virginia (McCury) Bego. Ellie was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Tower; and brother, Joe Bego.

Ellie is survived by her son, Harold "Pete" Ford, Jr. (Tara Abbott); daughter, Evelyn Ford; siblings, Nicholas Bego (Dottie), Louise Davis, and Tony Bego; and grandchildren, Dillon and Dakota Ford and Brendon King.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Ellie's wishes.
