Dawn René Bonnell, 49, of Louisville passed away on April 10, 2016. Dawn was born in Louisville on October 30, 1966 to Dan and Judy McLean. She was a member of Longfield United Baptist Church. Dawn was a loving and caring person who reached out to anybody that needed her. She had a servant's heart. She was a great cook and enjoyed helping others, and loved taking care of her children and grandchildren above all else.

Survivors include her fiancée, Rick Woods; three children, Danielle Booth, Whitney Bonnell, and Devin Bonnell; two grandchildren, Brayden Bonnell and Skylar Rogers; parents, Dan and Judy McLean and brother, Danny McLean.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 13, 2016 and continue on Thursday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home with burial following in Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery (5410 Mt. Washington Rd., Louisville, KY 40299).
