David E. Turner

David E. Turner, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. David was a loving brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a man of great Christian faith, loved to go to church, and was an Usher at Portland Memorial Baptist Church. He was a dedicated employee for 30 years at the Kroger in Portland. He was currently employed at Teasdale Latin Foods. David will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on December 29, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Will (Rhodes) Turner. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Robert T. Turner and Will Ella Turner; Nephew, Jason Turner; Niece, Taliyah.

David is survived by his loving family, Siblings, Larry Turner, Tyra Thomas, and Troy Thomas; Nieces & Nephews, Tina Ervin, Jaelin Resse, Jaciya Thomas, Trey Thomas, and Tavion Thomas; Uncle, Benny Rhodes, as well as a host of cousins, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
