David Bruce Stafford

David Bruce Stafford, age 73, passed away in Louisville on March 18, 2020 after a brief illness. David was born February 3, 1947 in Baton Rouge, LA. He is survived by his loving family: his sister, Janis Gimbrone; two nephews, Mark (Robin) Brittelli, Rob Brittelli, a niece, Mary (John) Ondrejka; two great nephews, Joe (Emily) Brittelli, Jon(Reina) Wasmund, great niece Caitlin Brittelli; and two great-great nieces, Natalie and Madeline Brittelli. He was predeceased by his mother, Agnes Payne Stafford and father, Arthur Stafford.

David graduated from Lyons Township High School in La Grange, IL in 1965 as a National Merit Scholarship recipient. He continued his education at Boston University, graduating in 1972, and pursued a career as a Bank Examiner.

He then owned a medallion for his own cab company in Boston for a number of years.

As always a free spirit, he decided to pursue his love of the outdoors instead and had a 25 year career as a postal worker in the Boston area. After retirement he moved to Louisville and helped to care for his father.

Cremation was chosen as he wished.

No service is planned at this time.
