David Todd Slack, Sr, 49, of Louisville, passed away on December 1, 2016. He was employed through Borcherding Contracting Group. David enjoyed fishing and was an excellent bowler having bowled several 300 games. He was a UofL fan and helping his family and friends meant a lot to him. He had a heart of gold and will be truly missed by all of the lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna and Paul Wolff.
David is survived by his children, Christina Coomer, Linda Slack and David Slack, Jr.; granddaughter, Mayleigh Crenshaw; parents, Wayne and Linda Slack; brother, Wayne (Courtney) Slack; sister, Mary (Scott) Poynter; nieces and nephews, Kerry, Kylee, Jonathan, Anthony, Brittney, Rodney, Greg, Scott and Bradley; several great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, Paulette "Ann" Nichols, Tina McGaha and Debbie (Terry) Berthold; uncles, Smokey (Betty) Folts and Monty (Betty) Vanwaning and the mother of his children, Nancy.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016, from 3pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway).
