PORTUGAL, David "Dave"
66, passed on Friday morning, August 1, 2014 following a long illness.
A native New Yorker, he made his home and living in Louisville for four decades following his service in the United States Army.
A gifted audio technician and businessman; he operated commercial audio companies for many years and was proud of his role in opening the Kentucky Center for the Arts in 1983.
Intelligent, particular, wryly humorous, and possessed of a generous heart, he will be greatly missed by his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia (Goldberger) Portugal and John Portugal.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park with Military Honors.
