David Ernest Raymond
June 2, 1943 — July 29, 2018
David Ernest "Giddy Up" Raymond, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018. He was a true outdoorsman. David was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Christine Raymond; his son, David Ernest Raymond, Jr.; his brother, Krome S. Raymond; and his sister, Helen Hornung.
David is survived by his loving partner, Sharon Norris; his children, Krome A. Raymond (Dawn), Dena Goodman (Phil) and Adam Raymond (Audrey); sisters, Merty, Linda (Mike) and Beverly; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, and from 9:30am – 11:00 am Saturday, August 4th. A celebration of David's life will be at 11am Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
