David Ray "Shively" Rice, 30, passed away on June 27, 2015. He had a very big heart and was always there for his friends and family, was an avid UofL fan, enjoyed car racing and going fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Rice, maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.
He is survived by his mother, Ronda Rice; brother, Jason Rice; grandmother, Evelyn Helton Rice; one niece, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; a special "little buddy", Maddie and a special pet, Miss Kitty.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of David's life will be July 2, 2015, beginning at 10am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
