David Ray Blankenbaker, 75, of Memphis,Indiana was called home on Monday, May 11, 2015. He was born on November 3, 1939 in Pekin, Indiana to Raymond and Ruth Blankenbaker. David was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Blankenbaker. He is survived by a son, Mike Blankenbaker(Carla), a daughter, Dana Mueller(Chad); brother, Bruce Blankenbaker(Bettie), sister, June McDowell; 4 grandchildren, Halie, Eli, and Catie Mueller, and Dakota Blankenbaker.
A memorial visitation will be on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 4to 6PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with service to follow.
