David Mcdaniel Price

David McDaniel Price, age 70 of Louisville, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019. He was a beloved Husband, Daddy and Papaw. He was born February 27, 1948 to the late Leo and Ernestine Price. He was a selfless man who loved his family very much and was always thinking of others. With the simplest of smiles, he could always make you laugh! David was an avid golfer and UofL fan, a Kentucky Colonel, retired former co-owner of Price Automotive and worked until his illness as a driver for PTI (Professional Transportation, Inc.). David was also preceded in death by his son, Danny Price; parents, Leo and Ernestine Price; brother, JB Price; and his grandparents, Lloyd and Marie Langley and Benjamin and Bessie Price.

David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Celeste Dolle Price; daughter, Megan Price (Mitchell Huff); granddaughter, Dani McKinley Huff; brothers, Tommy Price, Ronnie Price (Janet) and Bobby Price (Julie); sister, Betty Jo Price; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-8 pm Friday, February 1, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Mass of celebration will be 11am Saturday, February 2nd at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 212 Mt Mercy Dr, Pewee Valley, KY 40056.
