David B. Peterson, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
He was born on October 23, 1948 in Alexandria, Minnesota to Bernard and Iva Peterson. David's family moved to Hudson, Iowa, where he graduated high school before attending college in Mankato, Minnesota. He was a fun loving dad, grandpa, and uncle who will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Bernard Carl Peterson and Mother, Iva Beatrice Peterson.
David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Marcia Peterson; son, Bryce Peterson (Meredyth); daughter, Jennifer E. Summers (Stephen); daughter, Sarah Giles Brown (Devin); grandchildren, Matthew Peterson (Lindsey), Adam Peterson, Kaely Peterson, Cole Summers, Brennan Summers, Grace Summers, Madelyn Giles, Allec Brown, and Harper Brown; brother, Carl Peterson (Judy); sister, Debbi Wilson (Jim); brother, Paul Peterson (Debbie); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family will be holding a private service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in David's memory be made to The American Heart Association.
