David Lane Parmley

April 4, 1952 — May 16, 2020

David Lane Parmley , 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at University of Louisville Hospital on Saturday, May 16, 2020. David proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a die hard fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats. He was a Deacon at the Created for Worship Church. He was born on April 4, 1952 in Burksville, Kentucky to the late Celia Agnes Parmley. Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

David is survived by his brother, Marce Parmley, sister, Hazel Parmley, sister, Margenia Hatfield (John), 4 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 great nephews, close friend , George Hayes, and a host of close relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date and he will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. Newcomer Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Parmley Family.
