David Earl Page, 80, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026.

Born on February 10, 1946, David lived a life marked by dedication to his work, and deep love for his family. He served in the United States Army and later retired after many years working security at UPS in Louisville. Through the years, he was known as a man who valued responsibility, loyalty, and steady commitment.

David found joy in many simple and lasting pleasures. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially Kentucky Wildcats basketball, and had a strong love for history and Old Westerns. He also treasured trips to the Rocky Mountains, time spent working in his yard, and going fishing. Above all else, David loved his family and adored each of his grandchildren, who brought him great pride and happiness.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty (Dyson) Page, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. He also leaves behind his children, Diana Carden and her husband, Tony, David Page, and Deborah Pool. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren, Justin Pool and his wife, Molly; Jereme Baxter; Megan Spears; Lauren Woodmansee and her husband, Stephen; Gregory Carden and his wife, Sunny; Bryce Carden; Alana Aphaivongs; and Kellen Aphaivongs. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, his sisters, Marilyn Wilson and her husband, Bud, Joan Meador, and Susie Emerson; and his brother, Mickey Paul.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Madeline (Isaacs) Paul, and his brother, Mark Paul.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate David's life will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in David's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
