David Allen Malagese

David Allen Malagese, age 54 of Louisville, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 29, 1966 in Utica, New York, where he was one of seven sons. He was an avid skier and truly enjoyed the winter months. David found his true passion in the mortgage industry after moving to Louisville, Kentucky. He later met the love of his life, Angela Malagese, in which they raised four children whom he loved beyond measure. He is the Poppi of two beautiful grandchildren, who they refer to as "their favorite human". David is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Malagese; grandparents, Anthony and Rose Malagese and Harvey and Verna LaPointe.

David is survived by his loving wife, Angela; his four children, Bianca Rosa, Marisa Renee, Alicia Antionette and Nicholas David Malagese (Victoria Scorcia); his two grandchildren, Lilith Allen Sherry and Luca Allen Malagese; his parents, Anthony and Sandra Malagese; five siblings, Mark (Shelly), Tony, James (Michelle), Joel and Nathan (Jennifer) Malagese; in-laws, Carolyn and Garry Riley; sister-in-law, Maureen Malagese; and brother-in-law, Brian Ferry (Dana). He will also be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 pm Friday, September 18, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY (in Middletown). A celebration of David's life will follow at 6 pm.
