David Lee Lindsey, 53, of Brandenburg, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. David was a loving husband, dad, papaw, son, brother, cousin, and friend. He was larger than life and loved fishing and camping with his family. He loved anything to do with his grandkids. He was an avid animal lover and he was a jack of all trades, he could fix anything you gave him. He was a die hard Kentucky Wildcats Fan. David loved life and will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who knew him.
He was born on May 15, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Louise Lindsey, Father, James Thomas Madden, Sister, Connie Lindsey, grandparents, Almeta Burks and David Burks.
David is survived by his loving Wife of 34 years, Melinda Kay Lindsey; children, Tabitha (Dave) Raley, Thomas (Tiffany) Hildreth, Jessica King, and James Lee Lindsey; grandchildren, Elijah Raley, Emily Hildreth, Emma Hildreth, and Harrison King; bonus grandchildren, Aaron Tucker Jr., Aaden Tucker, Arlington Graham, and Alicia Smith; siblings, Amanda (Gary) Miller, Regina Nevil, and James (Shannon) Madden; bonus moms, Pat (Linda) Arthur. As well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his fun loving memory.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with cremation to follow.
