David Lee Lehman

David Lee "Dave" Lehman passed away on May 11, 2026. He was born on July 9, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late LoVerne Lehman and Ruth (Kleist) Lehman . David graduated from El Cajon Valley High School, in San Diego County, CA in 1977. He and his wife Sami moved from San Diego, CA to Louisville KY in 2006. Together they raised their 4 children, fostered 19 children for the state of Kentucky, and then went on to foster well over 100 cats and kittens (and a few dogs) for the Kentucky Humane Society. Dave loved Jesus and adored his family. Dave was known far and wide as the Costco guy who made people laugh with his dry humor, and who gave and inspired love and loyalty from his friends and coworkers.

Dave was preceded in death by his younger brother, Brian Lehman.

Dave leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sami (Smith) Lehman; his sons, Kyle Lehman (Angie) and Cory Lehman (Hanna),; his daughters, Sydney Palacio Diaz (Diego) and Bryann Goodman (Michael); and 4 grandchildren, Luca, Ezra, Colter and Celia; siblings, Larry Lehman (Pam), Bonnie Mosemak (Bob) and Susan Briel (Bill); and a host of family and friends.
