David L. Chaples

Mr. David L. Chaples, age 52 of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. "Casino Dave's" passion was Texas Hold'em. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Harris and father-in-law Martin Weinacker.

David is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Terri; sons, Vincent Catalano (Renea), David and Dennis Chaples; daughter, Tinamarie Chaples (Earl Watts); mother, Justine Harris; grandchildren, Vincent Catalano, Jr., Kayla Davis, Daniel Davis, Kyra Watts; great-granddaughter, Lilliana Davis; brother, Phillip Perkins (Cheryl); sisters, Jenny Lynn Brandenburg, Pam McQuilling (George); and many loving family members.

Funeral ceremony will be 2PM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation from 10am until time of service. Burial will be in Floydsburg Cemetery. Memorials may be made in memory of David to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.
