David Joe Kaufman, 70, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 2, 1946 to the late Robert and Dorothy Kaufman. He was a retired Boilermaker and was a member of Locus Grove Baptist Church.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Josephine Kaufman; children, Betty Franklin, David Kaufman, Johnny Kaufman and Kenneth (Daisy) Kaufman; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce (Floyd) Hurst, Donnie (Phyllis) Kaufman, Vanetta Kaufman, and Ricky (Kathy) Cook; and a host of other family members and friends.
The family wishes to celebrate his life privately.
