David W. Ingram, a beloved son, friend, and cherished member of his community, passed away on June 5, 2026. Born on August 13, 1977, in Louisville, Kentucky, David lived a life defined by warmth, passion, and unwavering faith.
A proud 1995 graduate of Moore High School, David found his joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life. For over two decades, he dedicated his time and talents to the Midland Trail Golf Course, where he was more than just an employee—he was a familiar and friendly face who loved being around people. In the last ten years, David fulfilled a dream, working at Louisville Sports Cards, a place that perfectly matched his passion for collecting and his deep love for sports.
David’s enthusiasm for the University of Kentucky was contagious. An avid fan, he carried this spirit with him everywhere he went. When not sharing stories or engaging with those around him, he found joy behind the wheel of his Mustang GT, affectionately named "White Lightning".
Known for his generosity and deep faith, David was a devoted member of both Plum Creek Baptist Church in Taylorsville and Highview Baptist Church in Louisville. His spirituality was a cornerstone of his identity, offering strength and comfort to those fortunate enough to know him.
David is survived by his loving mother, Rita Ingram, who undoubtedly holds treasured memories of her son’s laughter and kindness. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold David Ingram, whose memory lives on in David’s heart.
The family will be celebrating David’s life privately, honoring a man who touched so many with his warmth and generosity. Though he is no longer with us, David W. Ingram’s spirit endures in the stories told, the friendships formed, and the lasting impact of a life lived with passion and love. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
