David Leon Holman, born on July 7, 1957, passed away on September 11, 2026.

David will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who shared in his life. He started his working career at Wayne Supply with his father and retired as a Field Tech for ISCO to end out the working years. David was an avid sports fan, always ready to watch a good football, basketball or baseball game he even tried his hand at coaching Little League. loved to watch WWE wrestling, drink a beer and hang out with his coworkers and go camping and listening to old rock music.

He is survived by his sons, David Matthew Holman and his wife, Brittany, Thomas “Tommy” Leon Holman and his wife, Devon, and Max Holman and his partner Ayla. He is also survived by his bonus daughters, Teri Bennett and Katie Bennett. His family circle also includes his brother, Richard Holman; his sisters Linda Holman; and Beverly Craig and her husband Ken.

David’s memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren, Cailum, Ellie, Thomas, Emry, Lettie, Grace, Carter, Emerson, and Bodhi. along with niece and nephew, Kelly and Zach. Their lives stand as part of his lasting legacy, and he will be held closely in the hearts of the generations of family who survive him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon H. Holman; his mother, W. Lucille London Holman; and his sister, Barbara Freeman.

David Leon Holman will be remembered with affection and respect by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A life celebration gathering will be held on Sunday, September 27th, 2026, at the Sellersburg Moose Lodge, located at 1040 S. Indiana Ave, Sellersburg from 2 until 6 pm.
