David A. Herp, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 16, 2016. He was an avid University of Louisville fan. David enjoyed reenacting as a member of the 2nd KY Infantry. He was a member of the Landmark Independent Baptist Church.
David was born on September 7, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky to Norbert and Mary (Kirchgessner) Herp.
Along with his parents, David is survived by his son, Adam K. Herp; siblings, Donald L. Herp and Susan "Kim" Volz (Corky); nephews, Adam Volz, Ryan Volz (Colleen), and David Volz; great-nieces, Finley and Isla Volz; and a host of relatives and friends.
A gathering will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272).
