David Jean Heavrin, Ii

David J. Heavrin II was born on May 8, 1957. After years of battling health issues, he passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. A retired master electrician, he spent several years volunteering with the Sherriff's department, Coast Guard, and Boy Scouts of America. He was a boating, scuba diving, and motorcycling enthusiast. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Glenda Huffines Heavrin.

David is survived by his brother, Chris Heavrin; and 3 children, Shawn Heavrin, Phillip Heavrin, and Marissa Heavrin; and a host of relatives and friends.

A gathering to celebrate David's memory will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
