David Harlow, 90, of Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, at his Arcadia Senior Living residence.

He was born on August 27, 1935 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Ewell and Ruth Harlow. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Cordia Harlow, and son, Paul Harlow.

David is survived by children, Vanessa Giancola (Victor) and Daryl Harlow; grandson, Corey Giancola; sisters, Margie Harlow and Donna Brogdon (Scott) and brother in law, Al Wilson and special cousin, Linda Bader and many nieces and nephews.

David graduated with the 1953 Manual High School class, where he was on the golf team. He served in the Air National Guard 1958- 1962 and lived in Greece and Germany. David retired as a U.S. Post Office Supervisor after 33 years of service in 1990. David began working at multiple country club golf courses throughout Louisville for many of his retirement years. David was known for his fun and easy going personality.

David was active with his Manual High School alumni association and National Association of Retired Postal Supervisors. He was an avid and skilled golfer since he was a teenager. He and his wife enjoyed being snowbirds in their Casselberry, FL Lake Howell condominium for nearly 30 years where he golfed often and enjoyed walks in the sunshine with Cordia. David attended Louisville First Church of God.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Arcadia Senior Living community in Louisville. The nurses, caregivers and exceptional care for David and Cordia for the last several years. We would also like to give a special thanks to Hosparus of Louisville, especially Nurse Jackie, who supported David, Cordia and their family.

The visitation and funeral will be held as a private event.
