David A. "Tony" Filburn, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 19, 2017.
He retired from Cardinal Insulation and was a member of the American Legion Shawnee Post 193.
Tony was born on May 5, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lawrence and June (Ridgeway) Filburn. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Larry Filburn.
He is survived by his wife Lynn Filburn, siblings John (Mary) Filburn, Betty Pirrmann and Joe Filburn. He is also survived by his sister- in- law Lorri (Tom) Tanner, brother-in-law Bill (Nikki) Abbott, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).
His funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
