David Carter Chapman

David Carter Chapman, 51, of Palmyra, Indiana, was called home on Monday, February 9, 2015. He was born in Arroyo Grande, California on May 21, 1963 to Willmont and Kathryn Chapman. He was a mechanic for 14 years at TARC in Louisville, Kentucky. David was an avid UK fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, and loved spending time with family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Chapman, sister, Susan Lockard, brother, Mike Chapman. He is survived by his father, Willmont Chapman, children, Dana Goins(Michael), Erica Mills(Thess), Jessica Bartley, his loving companion, Mary Cooper, 3 grandchildren, Khimeara Farnworth, Peighton Mills and Emma Goins, along with his dog Snickers.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana).
