David Lee Burchfield

David Lee Burchfield, 77, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024. He was a man filled with faith, along with pride for his country and service in the United States Army.

He was born on January 4, 1947 in Frankfort, Kentucky to James and Ruth (Atwel) Burchfield. Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Nina.

David is survived by his children, David Burchfield, Jr. (Cammy) and Jada Burchfield. 

David's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association or to the Brown Cancer Center (529 S. Jackson Street, Louisville, KY  40202).
