David Brown

February 4, 1950 — December 8, 2015

David W. "Brownie" Brown, 65, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. David retired from Ford Motor Company after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the VFW Post 3281. David loved street rods and later in life enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

David is survived by his wife of 36 years Mona L. (Hurst) Brown; children, Marcia Morris (Jeff), Michelle Homiski (Jay), Eddie Hurst, & Shannon Hendrickson; sister, Linda Grauel; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 2 PM immediately following. Cremation was chosen following David's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of David may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children (520 W. Chestnut St.Louisville, KY USA 40202).
