David L. Armistead

David L. Armistead, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 4, 2019. David was born on October 3, 1944, Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Luther and Mary Armistead. He was an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He retired from American Synthetic Rubber Corporation. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 54 years, Marie Armistead; children, Susan (Dale) Mancuso, Keith (Angela) Armistead; grandchildren, Megan Williams, Kayla Mancuso, Savannah Frank and Kelsi King; and 4 great grandchildren.

A time of gathering to celebrate David's life will take place from 1:00 pm-8:00pm on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions- Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 am. in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
